Trump Is Derailing The Elite’s Gravy Train

Like the garbage French elite of long ago, our American garbage elite of today has learned nothing and forgotten nothing. For four years, it has been focused entirely on deep sixing Donald Trump for his unforgivable crime of demanding that our ruling caste be held accountable for its legacy of failure. Instead of focusing on not being terrible at their job of running America’s institutions, our elitists have decided that the real problem is us Normals being angry about how they are terrible at their job of running America’s institutions. So, let’s imagine that they finally vanquish Trump, though every time they come up against him they end up dragging themselves home like Ned Beatty after a particularly tough canoe trip.
If the elitists get power again, they are never letting go of it, not without a fight. And now, doesn’t the elite’s obsessive fixation on shutting down conservative dissent, eliminating competing institutions (like religious entities), and disarming law-abiding Americans make a lot more sense?

The Framers of our Constitution worked hard and carefully to construct a system where patriots could effect change without shedding the blood of either tyrants or patriots. We've stood by for too many years "trusting" a government that slowly and deliberately worked to undermine and dismantle that system. But that system will still work if We The People want it to, insist on it, and stay awake to get it done. You may say I'm naïve, but I believe the system will still work if we work at it. Not simple, not easy. We're way behind and the hour is late, but we still have a chance -- if we get busy.
It's imperative that the Congress (Both Houses) be regulated under new rules that limit their time in office.

Trump is taking the nation in a different direction than the military industrial complex and the deep state establishment wants...they don't like America stepping back from the way they think we should go so they unleash this string of get Trump hoaxes.....the establishment types have been driving us off a bridge since the second world war and covering it up with military action....

They get rich by driving this wrong headed strategy...either by crook and adviser employment or book contract gold.....there are so called think tanks all over the country that hire these people at a time of war...why would they want that lucrative set up to ever end?....they are getting dream jobs appointments and contracts written in the blood of our nations finest....its sick and Trump wants it to stop....

At the founding, no one wanted to be in Washington forever. They had farms and estates and lives to get back to. Now people who can do nothing else make lifetime careers of it.

Three two-year terms for the House, two three year terms for the Senate sounds good to me. Six years each then they get the boot.

Current presidential limits are fine.

I agree with Congress and Senate term limits. However, I think that 17th amendment should be repealed and have State legislators chose their Senators, since Senators are representing State's, not people.

I've always thought we should amend the Constitution to limit terms to one term in office followed by a like term separated from government. We don't need or want professional politicians nor did the founders.

The ruling class is the permanent federal bureaucracy, that survives and thrives no matter who is elected to the top spot...They are the ones who think they run everything, and believe that We the Peasants couldn't do without.
