Trump is a socialist!!!

That YMCA was socialism. And now, in modern times, that YMCA is not free anymore. You have to pay.

Roads can be considered protection because infrastructure is necessary for protection.

Farming is an occupation. You know, something a person CHOSE to do. Nobody is forcing them. If farming is too hard for them, they need to find something where they can succeed.

No welfare for farmers. We need to get rid of the two sets of rules. Same rules for everyone.
farming also feeds the country.. more protection than a city street being paved...

And medical care keeps people from dying. That's pretty necessary for protection of life. Are you okay with socialized medical care? Yes or No. Don't deflect.
im deflecting?....i dont think so,we were talking farming vs roads being paved, you deflected to medical care.......what is more important for the protection of the country....people eating or some road being paved?...you seemed to indicate to me roads being paved are more important....which is it?....
YOU deflected to paved roads.

So let's get back to farming and keep it there. Why can't farmers make it on their own? Why do they need a government handout? I thought the red states didn't need handouts from anyone.
i deflected?....you said....tax $$$ are only to be used for our protection....i asked how is paving a road nearby protecting us....if that is deflecting you had better learn what the word means....
So then let's get back to farmers. Why do they need a handout?

Public schools aren't socialism, welfare isn't socialism, tax subsidies aren't socialism, etc etc.

The continued dumbing down of America strikes again.

Of course they are and yes it did.

Who owns the school district? Is it the property owners? The state who forces us to pay property taxes to the school district, even though we haven't had kids in PS for decades? Is it the kids whom we pay to educate?

So yso you are advoctating for the removal of welfare, snap, ACA, disaster relief, Medicade and all the other programs so close to Dems hearts? Or is this just you don't like farmers and eating because Trump likes farmers?

you cant even spin the shit out of Trump fucking the country and come close to the bottom line -

thanks for playing
You really have to love the crazy people. Not a single point just a hoped for deflection..

snap, ACA, disaster relief, Medicade and all the other programs - not even in the same universe with Chinese tariff's ...

yAWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
Lol you really are low IQ. They are all things which are giveaways just as the farm subsidies are. There is a major difference in the fact that farms don't make it people don't eat.

In your little world you somehow think that anything you don't like is somehow not the same.

Yes we do. We can grow food in our own backyards. In modern times, folks in inner cities share community gardens.

Also, not sure if you are aware, other countries have people who know how to farm. Russian's are really good at growing wheat.
They are the top wheat exporter in the world.

The only reason it is not compete socialism is because the private sector still exists. But, for all practical purposes, yes. Socialists took over education.

Public schools have naught to do with the economy of this country.

If you want to argue that the federal government and perhaps even the state governments shouldn't have anything to do with local education make that argument, but they are not socialism.

The definition of socialism is government control of the means of production and distribution. In education, government control well more than 90%, paid for by the public. That would be 90% ownership/control of the means of production/distribution of that sector of the economy.

It's not REAL, COMPLETE Socialism, but close enough.

And, public education K-12 is, for the most part, complete shit.

My kids are fortunate enough to go to one of the best public school districts in the nation, where they are better than expensive private schools, which sucks because I am perpetuating the commie take-over of education. I recognize my partial hypocrisy, but I pay for this shit by government force, so I may as well use it.

Public Universities are MUCH better than K-12 for many reasons. One is the exclusivity factor (they can limit the number of future ditch diggers they must educate). Another factor is that they have stiff competition from the private sector (U.S. News and World Report Top Universities top 10 are all private universities except MIT). And, the private sector often funds public university research, so higher education is no more than government participating in the free market.

.

I'm still waiting for an answer to the question of WHY the farmers need welfare handouts?

Anyone?

Bueller?

I'm not a fan of our current public education system, but it is not socialism.

For one thing, even if you considered K-12 education a sector of the economy , our government doesn't control it , you are free to home school your kid , you are free to open your own school, you are free to do lots of things. The government doesn't have a monopoly on education.

It is not socialism, it's not even partly socialism.

Do you know how much money is generated from public schools.

It's a basic socialist principle of collecting from the haves and distributing it to the have nots.

Not wanting to make an argument for or against.

The orange minions will have no problem receiving handouts from taxpayers money. If that's not socialism what it is?

Trump gives US farmers new round of funds as trade war cushion

It's Chinese tariff money, dumbass.
WTF? Doesn't mean it belongs to farmers!

That money should be used to defend ourselves from the hordes of illegals and alcaidas. Not to pay farmers who can't manage to run a profitable business. Maybe they should have picked a different career.

Life is all about choices.

China targeted our farmers with their own tariffs...they even bought advertising in farming areas to discourage them from supporting Trump's tariffs. You don't know any of this...you're ignorant of what's happening. The OP claimed he gave them "tax dollars"...he didn't.

i just said if you pay into the system you should be able to get something back.......do farmers pay taxes?....should they get something to help them over a group of people who have never put a dime into the system?.....i think so....

its tax money...you pay in,you can get something out....you dont pay in?....
Socialism. Tax $$$ are only to be used for our protection. Nothing else. Farmers have to sink or swim on their own. Free Market.

No welfare for farmers.
Tax $$$ are only to be used for our protection
they are?....not all tax dollars go to our protection ......they built a YMCA with tax funds, how was that protecting us?....they used tax money to pave a road nearby, how was that protecting us?...

Food is pretty important to national security, and, well life.

Stop the stupid trade wars and tariffs.
So we should make sure every single person in this country has enough food to eat despite their ability to pay for it? Despite the color of their skin? It doesn't work that way in this country. You know better.

Farmers have to learn how to run their business like everyone else. It is not up to taxpayers to bail their asses out. They have to function in the free market.

It's the GOP way. They need to stick to it.

We also need to end public broadcasting and Amtrak and thousands of other programs that prop up businesses, or we could just go deeper in debt.

China doesnt pay a penny for a tariff - stupid mf'r

Ah, the snitch who threatened to shoot Trump chimes in.....China importers pay, shitbag...ordinary.Americans haven't paid a dime of it.
