President Trump’s reelection campaign manager Brad Parscale told Fox News’ “Bill Hemmer Reports” Monday that the forthcoming Senate impeachment trial was unlikely to have any impact at the polls this November, and may even help the president’s chances.
“From the campaign side, our numbers have gone up [since impeachment],” Parscale told host Bill Hemmer. “I told the president this right out of the gate. I said, ‘If they try to impeach you and they try to do this [to you] for doing nothing wrong at all, you’re the one that’s going to come victorious out of this.’
It’s going to create lots of fundraising — we have over $200 million in the bank between our committees — our numbers have gone up, and independents see this farce, and this hoax.”
Parscale also dismissed the field of potential challengers to the president, saying most Americans had “tuned out” their arguments.
“As soon as the president runs on any of the ballots, against any of their policies, he performs greatly against them, better than [even against Hillary] Clinton [in 2016],” Parscale said. ” …
He is so far ahead of where he was in 2016 against Clinton, he is so far ahead of these other candidates in fundraising and in numbers … and their policies are so far-left, the American people are not going to want them.”

California Begins Massive Voter Roll Clean-Up – Notifies Up to 1.5 Million ‘Inactive’ Voters as Part of Judicial Watch Lawsuit Settlement
(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it has been informed that Los Angeles County has sent notices to as many as 1.5 million inactive voters on its voter rolls. This mailing is a step toward removing the names of voters who have moved, died, or are otherwise ineligible to vote. The massive mailing is the result of a settlement agreement with Judicial Watch requiring the county to remove as many as 1.5 million inactive registrations. In addition, the California secretary of state has alerted other California counties to clean up their voter registration lists to comply with the federal National Voter Registration Act (NVRA), as the secretary promised to do in that same settlement agreement.
All of this is the result of a federal lawsuit Judicial Watch filed in 2017 to force the cleanup of Los Angeles County’s voter rolls (Judicial Watch, Inc., et al. v. Dean C. Logan, et al. (No. 2:17-cv-08948)). Judicial Watch sued on its own behalf and on behalf of Wolfgang Kupka, Rhue Guyant, Jerry Griffin, and Delores M. Mars, who are lawfully registered voters in Los Angeles County. Judicial Watch was joined in this lawsuit by Election Integrity Project California, Inc., a public interest group that has long been involved in monitoring California’s voter rolls.

Indicted businessman Lev Parnas said he did not speak directly with President Trump about a pressure campaign against Ukraine that sought to benefit Trump politically, despite earlier reports to the contrary.
Last November, CNN reported that Parnas told close associates he had spoken to Trump. "At one point during the party that night, Parnas and Fruman slipped out of a large reception room packed with hundreds of Trump donors to have a private meeting with the President and Giuliani, according to two acquaintances in whom Parnas confided right after the meeting," CNN wrote.
"Eventually, according to what Parnas told his confidants, the topic turned to Ukraine that night," the article continued. "According to those two confidants, Parnas said that 'the big guy,' as he sometimes referred to the President in conversation, talked about tasking him and Fruman with what Parnas described as 'a secret mission' to pressure the Ukrainian government to investigate Joe Biden and his son Hunter."
The New York Times told a different story Wednesday, reporting: "Mr. Parnas said that although he did not speak with Mr. Trump about the efforts, he met with the president on several occasions and was told by Mr. Giuliani that Mr. Trump was kept in the loop."
Parnas's decision to go public has led to congressional Democrats demanding that he and other key players in the pressure campaign be called to testify in next week's Senate impeachment trial.

On July 12, 2018, Democrat Representative Adam Schiff sent John Szobocsan a letter on official letterhead requesting that Mr. Szobocsan participate in an interview in front of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI):
Mr. Szobocsan was an associate of Peter W. Smith who had tried to obtain Hillary Clinton’s emails and who then reportedly committed suicide in May 2017, a year before Schiff’s request. (Obviously, because Smith was attempting to find dirt on the Clintons, there were suspicions that his death may not have been a suicide.)
Schiff also requested that Szobocsan provide documents and information related to efforts to obtain Hillary Clinton’s emails and any facts related to General Michael Flynn, Donald Trump and others:
Mr. Szobocsan claims he complied with Schiff’s request and provided him a response by the date requested (July 26, 2018) along with a USB drive containing documents that satisfied the request. Within days, Mr. Szobocsan and a family member started to receive calls from Anthony Cormier, a reporter at Buzzfeed.
(Cormier is known for his reporting later in 2019 that Michael Cohen was asked by President Trump to lie in his testimony in front of Congress. This claim was later rebutted by the Mueller gang in their final report stating that this did not happen.)
Mr. Szobocsan also notes that about this same time that he was being contacted by Buzzfeed, Natalie Edwards was arrested and charged with leaking information to a reporter at Buzzfeed. The far-left New York Times reported on October 17, 2018:
The federal authorities arrested a Treasury Department official on Wednesday and charged her with illegally showing a journalist secret reports about suspicious wire transfers by President Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort and others.
The Times also reported that Ms. Edwards was charged with leaking the information to Jason Leopold from Buzzfeed:
Prosecutors didn’t name the journalist. Headlines and quotes in the court papers matched articles published by BuzzFeed News; each article had the byline of Jason Leopold, an investigative reporter. He and a BuzzFeed spokesman declined to comment.
