Any of you folks drive a Toyota? Read this and see what's going to happen.
I drive a Toyota.
If the accelerator sticks, I plan to just pop it into neutral, put both of my feet on the brake and push down, and yank on the emergency brake at the same time.
No big whoop!
Oh...and pray that there is no black ice on the road.

I have a toyota, but it is not effected.
Everyone in my family except my parents drive a Toyota or a Lexus.

I've got an '07 Avalon. I drive it with the pedal to the floor anyway. No worries.

The announcement follows a larger recall months earlier of 4.2 million vehicles because of problems with gas pedals becoming trapped under floor mats, causing sudden acceleration. That problem was the cause of several crashes, including some fatalities.
About 1.7 million vehicles fall under both recalls.
