The top 3 cities are EXPENSIVE to live in. THAT is why many who cannot afford the demand-influenced prices have to go to s-hole cities or rural areas that are run by right-leaning politicians and are relatively boring to live in.

Its inefficient actually. It would be more efficient to deal with homeless at a state level, creating housing facilities in low cost areas that still have access to jobs and services.

Not disagreeing with that. Daughter works with homeless or near homeless due to domestic abuse situations and its much easier to get them housing in a city like San Antonio or Houston vs. Austin - because of the costs of housing.
