The 59% of Americans who still oppose this bill.
13 of that 59 percent thought the bill didn't go far enough....
...so I don't think you can put them on your side of the ledger....

The 59% of Americans who still oppose this bill.WHO are "you/we" going to elect to change things.
We can vote in new blood, upstarts who are not connected to the good-old-boys (and girls) networks that currently dominate Congress. You've never heard of them, because they are young politicians from your neighborhood, never been on TV.Who are are the options?
Alternatively, you can continue to vote in the same kleptocrats who tell us to pay more taxes, while they evade theirs. Like Rangel, Dodd, et al.
The next generation of Republican upstarts (nationally), mixed with a health number of 3rd-party candidates (locally).Who are the candidates, and how are they going to change things?
No more "compassionate conservatives," no more "neocons." We are going to a see a return to the Goldwater Conservatives, a name that has been taboo for the past 30 years.
Yes, this is going to piss off the religious right, and the socialist left, but this insanity has gone on long enough. No more putting off our massive debt, no more ignoring the looming social security crisis, no more ignoring the fundamentals of the economy. No more Keynesian stimulus.
The same arrogance,...
One of the problems with today's landscape is that anyone that would be truly great is never going to run for office and risk having their lives served up on a platter.
Well, here we go. He has set about what he promised.. the destruction of America. this is the change, the hope... a "new America" Chavez like, bankrupt, nanny state like... enjoy.
The bickering should end now. There are important, profound, and inescapable miracles which bind us all closer than family and yet we waste our time and energy with such frivolous pursuits.
Forget the politics and lets focus on a way to unite and grow towards peace and progress.

Of course your Utopian free market economy worked out so well didn't it? Does the Acronym TARP mean anything to you?
Yeah its the result of free markets not be allowed to fix themselves.

If you think the unemployment rate is bad now, you'd go darkside at the rate if TARP hadn't happened. They were only talking about the collapse of the world financial systems....I would venture to say that unemployment would have been the least of the US's problems...

You can never have peace when you compromise with evil men.
What do you want us to progress to? What's wrong with being free?
No, when the Court appointed Bush, Jr. president. You mean when the court upheld the law?Kinda like the republicans when Bush became president thru the supreme court decision?
A poor example.
But then again, a great one, as the man who tried to manipultae himself to a victory he didn't earn has been busy the last 10 years creating a crisis that doesn't exist so he can cash in on it.
Yeah, worked for me! and most people I know.. I chose to do something with my life. And yes, Chris Dodd and Bawney Fwank gave us the mortgage meltdown. Yes worked out well. More liberal retardedness.
The same arrogance, the same dismissive attitude of all who don't agree, the same 'my way or the highway' crowd bragging that they won a vote they could only lose if their own side betrayed them.
I'll say again what i said then, enjoy it while you can, it never lasts.
And neither will this bill which you think is so great, loaded with kickbacks, special deals for Unions and tremendous costs that will bankrupt the nation.
In short, you once again redefined stupid as someone who blindly follows what the messiah says and damn the consequences.
It the nation will once again watch the Dems lose the power they never shold have been entrusted with so completely, as soon as the dems got their hands on it they misused the public trust.
So laugh now, post jokes and insults at protestors, get it all out.
Because we will have the last laugh when we vote your kind out of office and repeal the garbage you tried to saddle us with.
Watch what we do, and maybe learn next time not to abuse power.
People are alot more resilliant then you give us credit for.
The free market is based on natural law. When people are violating natural law, you are going to see the market correct itself. If you stop that correction, it only gets worse down the road.
