Toto's Africa was number one on the charts. Jan 30, 1983 thru Feb. 5, 1983.
I love this song.
Liked it when it came out and I still love it.

I was never a Toto fan. But one time I was in this record store in Japan and this cool music was playin' so I asked the guy who worked there who it was and he said it was Steve Lukather so I bought the CD (Luke). If you haven't heard his solo stuff it's really different than what you've heard him play in Toto.

Apparently he put out another solo album about a week ago? I'll have to check that out!

On this day two years ago I saw my most favorite singer for the second time. I just pray that it isn't my last time. :) :) :)

God bless you and James always!!! :) :) :)

4th Feb 1965, The Righteous Brothers were at No.1 on the UK singles chart with the Phil Spector song 'You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'. Also a US No.1 at the same time. In 1999 the PRS announced that it was the most played song of the 20th Century.
