A bit of perspective here:
"The Nakba is the heart of the Palestinians backward-looking national narrative, which depicts the creation of the State of Israel in 1948 as the original sin that dispossessed the lands native people. Every year, on the anniversary of Israels independence, more and more Palestinians (including Arab citizens of Israel) commemorate the Nakba with pageants that express longing for a lost paradise. Every year, the legend grows of the crimes committed against the Palestinians in 1948, crimes now routinely equated with the Holocaust. Echoing the Nakba narrative is an international coalition of leftists that celebrates the Palestinians as the quintessential Other, the last victims of Western racism and colonialism."
The Nakba Obsession by Sol Stern, City Journal Summer 2010
Would you care to estimate the blame that should be attributed to
1. Arab nations that refuse to assimilate these folks
2. The 'victims' themselves who are satisfied to wallow in the camps?
Hey, Jos....let me cheer you up with a couple of levities...
Q. How many Palestinians does it take to change a light bulb?
A. None! They sit in the dark forever and blame the Jews for it!
And this one:
A Palestinian mother told her friends proudly, My first son blew himself up in an Israeli synagogue, and he killed or maimed two dozen infidel men, women, and children. My second son walked into an Israeli school, where he shot eight children and a teacher to death before an IDF sniper brought him down. My third son is doing life in an Israeli prison for raping and murdering a Christian girl.
I thought she had four sons, a bystander whispered.
She disowned Abdul for behaving like an infidel; he became a biochemist and discovered a cure for cancer, another bystander explained.
"by Sol Stern" Ever heard of the term- "subjective"?
Try again. Those tasteless jokes don't help you either
What jokes?
They're parables.
