hocus pocus ...
not quite "for You are with me", until there is triumph over evil - the individual is on their own, the objective is what matters. good luck.

Our country, or yours? IMHO, hard challenges are better than no challenges. That's how progress is made, in response to hard challenges. It takes awhile sometimes, often too long but when you live in a democratically-elected representative republic, well that's what you get.

Definitely my country.
I've warned you guys constantly, do NOT emulate us or our system. Places like Toronto have only survived due to U.S jobs and subsidies.

First, rest assured that the US is not emulating Canada, we're way too arrogant for that. Whatever our mistakes and foolishness, it's totally on us and no one else. Second, I am assuming your anguish is for future generations rather than yourself, which I share BTW. There's a major shitstorm coming, it's just a question of when and it won't be pretty. And I dunno how long it'll last either, or what the end result will be. Empires and civilizations collapse, and something new replaces them. Usually with a lot of collateral damage and suffering, but that's the way of the world and humanity has not yet smartened up enough to avoid it.
What can any of us do to mitigate or prevent such calamities? Not much really, you write your warnings and that's good but I don't know what else an ordinary schmuck like you or me can do to make a difference. Assuming you are an ordinary schmuck like me that is. There is a growing number of analysts who are forecasting an economic downturn next year or the year after, maybe it'll be even later than that but clearly we are on an unsustainable path and neither political party has the balls to do anything about it. Sometimes when that big ball of shit is rolling downhill, all you can do is yell "look out"! and then get out of the way.
Note: I wrote this before I saw your #16 post. I'll get to that later.

Well those are bigger world problems, my problem is with the covert apparatus, run by certain police agencies.
As it were, I have no allegations against me nor charges, nor a criminal record. I was unfortunate to have crossed paths with the wrong animals. I won't ever stop fighting for what's right though, they went too far, and I've been a major thorn in the side of many. It's cost our economy in particular, of this I am confident. I reached out to far too many people with too many specifics.

Nothing wrong with fighting for what's right, some would call that patriotism. But your OP and thread title sounded very ominous, like you are about to be shot or arrested in the middle of the night and never to be seen again. Didn't know that happened in Canada, yuck. Wishing you well in all your efforts. "Endeavor to persevere", movie buffs probably know where that quote comes from.
