Can you please stop voting for someone who you think would be cool to have a beer with? Who gives a damn if McCain reminds you of your Grandpa or Obama reminds you of your buddy, that means nothing in terms of the Presidency. So many people voted for Bush because they thought like that, can we please not be so idiotic again?

What kind of person do you recommend ?

One that you believe represents your opinion on how to run a country for starters. And the fact you needed to ask that is mildly scary

Im a scary sorta guy and neither party represents my idea of how to run a country. If I would have had a chance to interview them during the selection process I can guarantee you that none of the above would be in the final running.

Good advice.

Many of us would have had a beer with the young not yet in power Hitler if he'd been buying.

I agree. I think both sides have been a dismal failure. Sold us out. Neither of these guys is going to be any different. Having said that I'll vote McCain cause far as I know he didn't hang around with terrorist bombers and the Rev. Jeramiah Wright. btw. did you know that the good Rev. having ralied on and on and on about evil rich white people moved into a gated white community.? did you know that?

what if I think they all suck and would like to smash them in the head ,but still intend to vote
do I pick the old Career politician-who I almost allways disagree with?
or the Vacuum cleaner saleman-who I loathe despise and fear?
does Biden help? nope, I think he's the worst of them all!
and Palin, well who knows-eventually she could be a good leader but today shes not very experienced(while certinly being more experienced than the vacuum cleaner salesman)

why do you live in this country then? I get so sick of hearing how there's noone qualified to run this country. We hear it every single election.

I think McCain is qualified to be President, I don't agree with him on the issues.

I think Obama is qualified to be President and I do agree with him on the issues.

guess who I'm voting for :eusa_whistle:

I think it's safe to make the connection that from 1980 - 1992 when we had a Republican president our economy went in the shitter... from 1992-2000 when we had a Democrat as president our economy rebounded...from 2000 to today with a Republican president our economy is in the shitter AGAIN.

I mean c'mon people didn't you ever play connect the dots as a kid? the problem seems to be pretty clear....

I am afraid sometimes that this is a nation of rednecks (no offense meant to rednecks) Our educational system, our entertainment, MSM all contribute to the dumbing down of America. Consider the republican selection of McCain and Palin, bottom of his class and creationism proponent. And look at the South and West and who they prefer, you would think that after all the republicans failures people would think this is enough. But no, republicans have combined greed and church and the toxic combo gave us the current simpleton who hasn't done a single thing well.

There are plenty of people qualified to run the country-----they just don't make through the gop/dem gauntlet.

Did you know the Reverend is black, and do you know any history, and are you in a cave or box and unconscious of the real world. Seems so. Mr Wright is a citizen of America where we have free speech, where you are from is hard to tell.

I think McCain is qualified to be President, I don't agree with him on the issues. Maybe qualified. I disagree with him on amnesty

I think Obama is qualified to be President and I do agree with him on the issues. Not qualified. Is a big socialist/maraxist
