What I want to know is
A. if Republicans and conservatives don't want to pay for entitlements by people not paying into the system but dragging it down, claiming most of the budget is going toward that
B. if Democrats and liberals don't want to pay any excess into the military defense budget especially not for the Iraq War they protested as costing billions per month

then WHY can't members of both parties pay taxes for what they want to, and not for what they oppose? Why can't any part of the budget that reps disagree on be paid for by party, and only keep public what everyone agrees needs to be in the budget at a certain level?

Why wouldn't this solve the problem if people can pay for health care who don't want to pay for war and vice versa????
