3. 12 shot at Alabama party

At least 12 injured after shooting at Phenix City party

Sadly, these things apparently happen all over the country so often that they aren't "news" any more. Except locally. If they were actually reported nationally every time they happened, we would have had much stricter gun control laws years ago.

That guy was not motivated by racism but crazy. He was known to the authorities for railing against muslims, Jews and Christians.

The 12 killed at the birthday party was just another black on black crime. Black and Hispanic criminal activity is quickly becoming too common to even be newsworthy. Crime by whites is so unusual as to be the man bites dog stories worthy of headlines.

More than thirty shooting deaths every day, including far too many children. You're right - If each was reported, we would not hear of any other news.

The reaction from the gun nutters is to make sure every criminal, undocumented, mental case and terrorist can get more and more guns.
