[Scottish First Minister Nicola] Sturgeon, making clear her own reliance on identity politics, praised Hillary Clinton’s defeated right-wing militarist campaign as “a major step forward for women in America and across the world.” According to Sturgeon, the corrupt corporate warmonger “is owed a deep debt of gratitude.”

Nothing personal, but who cares what the Scottish Socialist Party thinks? WHY should Americans care?!

All this whining and crying, I'm reminded of Bob Dylan's "Blowing in the wind."

Yeah well, affirmative action. The politically correct sheeple want a woman president and they don't give a fuck if she's qualified or not. And the political correct (in Scandinavia) gave Obama the Nobel Prize "for being black". What's next? A transgender leader and Nobel Prize winner? For sure! No professional qualifications needed.

The best leader the world has ever known ...... even though she-he hasn't been sworn in yet!

Socialism has a zero win to loss ratio, it failed every time it's been tried in civilized history lomng term...
Yet the simple minds keep wanting it.

Why don't you define what you mean by Socialism? The CRW uses the term, but I suspect they cannot offer a clear and concise description of the term. Give it a shot, miketx, a morning laugh is always a good way to start the day..

The Scottish Socialist Party.

Yeah I'll pass on that nonsense.

Read it yourself ... if you are literate, which I doubt:

It has a noble ring to it - that we should all take care of each other - that resonates with young people who have nothing to lose by reshuffling the deck. Demagogues are attracted to that pool of young fish.

It just doesn't work.

Hint: Giving the name of the Standard, doesn't real tell me what the standard is, or how it is applied.

Political participation? Does that give bonus points for requiring voting? We don't know.

I suggest you review the link posted by GLOSNOST (see post #16 & 19) and offer some evidence that Democratic Socialism doesn't work. In fact, maybe you might be able to define the term you use so assuredly? (miketx hasn't tried to yet).
