As for judging and self identification. So common sense and reality is racism? Races exist and are clearly different. There is a difference between hating someone and recognizing races on the whole are different and exist. So I totally disagree with your characterization and find you position that race doesn't matter naive. I gather you don't live around many non-whites.

You think judging based on sports affiliation is rational but race isn't? You are the silly one.

By the way, I am not American, I am just asking why you think this regions are racist and asking for your evidence.

From my experience with Americans, the southerners that I have met are racially aware and conservative because they have to live with blacks. Most American liberals I know from outside the South believe in this specious notion of "equality" and multiculturalism. Arguably self hating.

We still have far too many racialists from the far right in South acting like religious bigots. Of course we do, and we all know it. We must always to call it out, expose it, stamp on it. The millennials will do wonders in marginalizing it in the future decades as nothing but a terminal disease.

This really needs to be stamped-out. Our next non-Repub AG in '16 will see to that.
