No one is blocked from competing with WalMart that can spend 50 billion a year with their suppliers.I have never been a union member.
More competition does not limit choice but increases it.
No one is blocked from competing with Wal-Mart.
Do you think Kobe Bryant should be banned from professional basketball? Lenny Crabowitz can't compete against him. Bryant is clearly a monopoly and anti-competitive.
Excellence will not be tolerated, eh flopper?
Supporting sweat shops in third world countries, sex discrimination in the workplace, violations of wage and hour laws, and stocking 85% of your shelves with foreign made goods is not a mark of excellence.
So it's now a monopoly if your business is more successful and generates more money than most people's? Only small, poor businesses - which also, coincidentally, can't offer prices or selections as good to consumers - should be allowed to be in business?
Wah, wah, whine, whine on the whole "sweatshop" thing. I'm well aware that what constitutes a sweatshop to most leftists is anyplace that doesn't pay what the same job would cost in the US, never mind what the standard of living in that country actually IS or how much it would fuck up their economy to make factory workers among the richest people in their communities.
Sex discrimination in the workplace? Give me a break. Because one disgruntled **** can't figure any other reason BESIDES her **** that her career isn't going well? Give me half-a-second, and I'll bet I can think of one.
Violations of wage and hour laws? Again, based on what?
What've you got against foreign-made products? The fact that they help to raise the economies of poorer nations a hell of a lot better than US foreign aid does, the fact that they enable poor people in THIS country to have a higher standard of living by making products more affordable to them, or the fact that leftist tax policies forced the golden geese to flee the country before they could be killed?
