I followed your link. Neither this piece's authors nor the sources for it's assertions are identified, except for Gateway Pundit, which is a known right-wing propaganda rag unworthy of any credence.

Most of the things that your unknown author complains of have absolutely nothing to do with any discussion of intimate sexual activity of any kind. S/he seems to think that something awful is happening to the children by merely mentioning LGBTs unless these references clearly portray them in a grossly negative fashion and somehow link them to sex crimes against children, yet pedophilia and grooming are crimes committed by people of all sexual orientations against kids of both sexes. And the unknown author is clearly in favor of teaching students that bullying and harassment of others is acceptable behavior.

As the kids grow, they are going to need more explicit information from somewhere, including discussion of the feelings and reactions they might experience. Look how many parents are too stupid to give their kids a basic sex education at home, yet at least by teenage years, the kids are going to need more explicit information to stay safe because they are exposed to so much more and their hormones are becoming active. How else do you think that kids develop a propensity for what your president terms "locker-room talk," unless they pick it up from somewhere? Where did he pick it up? From his devout parents? Clearly, their abstinence teachings didn't take root.

Offering practical information about sex helps kids decide to say "no" as well as "yes" in the real world, and if they decide to say "yes," as so many teenagers do in spite of what their parents say, it will help them avoid the problems that come with it. If it takes an outside organization to reach out to the kids with this information, the parents and schools aren't doing their jobs. While the supposedly horrible safety info given by some LGBT group about anal and oral sex, these are sexual practices that occur among people of all sexual orientations, and there is much evidence that both heterosexual teens and homosexual teens are practicing them, whether you like it or not. As for vaginal intercourse and associated risks, you know what that's about.

This hysterical anti-gay and "abstinence education" BS does no one any good and leaves the most vulnerable among us at risk of walking right into situations for which they are not prepared. The people who push this crap are not only putting their own children, regardless of sexual orientation, at risk, they are putting other children at risk, too.

The campaign even has a website, StopCSE.org, which uses lurid language to scare parents away from sex education programs that include information about consent, safety and diversity.

These people seem to be obsessed with sex and with children. And to stupid to understand that comprehensive sex ed. prevents disease and pregnancy. The only question is, do they actually believe this bovine excrement or is it a ploy in support of a wider agenda beyond sex education? It is probably both :

“Most CSE programs promote acceptance of diverse sexual identities and orientations and have an almost obsessive focus on sexual pleasure,” the site says (emphasis in the original), “instructing children and youth at the earliest ages on how to obtain sexual pleasure in a variety of ways.”

My God!!! Seriously?? My guess is that these people are the ones focused on sexual pleasure, or, more accurately, avoiding sexual pleasure for fear of hell and damnation. And out of envy, seek to deny others sexual pleasure. And they are outright lying about what children are being taught as part of their campaign to vilify all sex.........unless it with a porn star or prostitute of course.

An email from the World Congress of Families, which now operates as a project of Brian Brown’s International Organization for the Family, boasts of two upcoming regional gatherings. The anti-choice and anti-LGBTQ WCF generally has a big annual global summit and smaller regional gatherings, at which “delegates learn how and why it is important to protect the natural family as the fundamental and sustainable unit of society and defend the sanctity and dignity of all human life from conception to natural death.”

The Caribbean gathering, whose co-hosts include Focus on the Family, will be held in St. Lucia November 17-18. The topics include: population control in Jamaica, comprehensive sex education, “Five Fatal Inconsistencies in Gender Theory,” and “Marriage Is the Foundation of Civilization.”

The local organizer for the conference, who is supported by WCF regional coordinator Rebekah Ali-Gouveia, is Sarah Flood-Beaubrun, a member of the St. Lucian Parliament and founder of the Caribbean Centre for Family and Human Rights (CARIFAM). Other speakers include WCF’s Don Feder, Focus on the Family’s Glenn Stanton, Family Watch International’s Sharon Slater, and Pastor Scott Stirm, an activist who has led opposition to LGBTQ equality in Belize. Many of the same people took part in another regional WCF gathering that was held in Antigua in June.

You use sexual ignorance as a weapon, even sacrificing your own children. Nobody is teaching anyone's "agenda" in public schools, even yours, or they are not supposed to be. However, given the federal funding of "abstinence education," it is your "agenda" that is being pushed in public schools, in spite of the fact that a good deal of Americans do not wait for marriage. Many more studies and polls have focused on girls and women, so information on males is harder to come by, but culture, anecdotal stories, and word-of-mouth suggest that males pretty much do not wait until marriage, regardless of their stated religious affiliation. Consider whether you personally have observed the rules of sexual morality put forth by your religion. Consider whether you or your religious fellows view anyperson's virginity as a commodity.

Preventing unwanted pregnancies, teen pregnancies, the spread of STDs, too-early marriages, with the goal of producing healthy and educated adults prepared to take their places in society and make positive contributions are legitimate concerns of the public. Whether a person is abstinent until marriage is not of public concern. It has to do only with personal religious issues and preferences. And as I said above, a person given practical information about sexual topics has a choice of using this information or not. This is a choice.

I have never heard of sexual activity of any sort being mentioned to elementary school children. I have, however, witnessed at a county school board meeting in the early 1990's that was held to decide whether to cover LGBT students under the anti-harassment rules, a bunch of very small children bused in from some supposedly "Christian" church, walking around holding signs that read "sodomy is not child's play." It was this "church" and their parents who apparently were responsible for this.

Moreover, your "side" has never responded clearly to allegations of hatred of women and gays, and perhaps more veiled hatred of people of color and other religions, nor allegations of attempts to establish patriarchy and sexual subjugation of women, and of attempts to replace our government with a theocracy run by exponents of your crap.
