Obama is the one acting like the power of SCOTUS is nothing compared to his.
That is nice and all, but I am sure SCOTUS knows he cannot do much. It is not like these people don't deal with people disagreeing with them daily. it is also not like obama could actually do anything to them. The best he could do is abuse his power, violate the law, and get himself impeached. With the rabid right looking for any excuse to get rid of him he cannot even wipe his ass the wrong way. You do not even have an argument do you?
He shows a tremendous lack of respect for anyone who disagrees with him.
Really, because the biggest complaint of his supporters is he has shown way too much respect to the republicans who would rather sink the country than work with him. This guy bends over backwards for the ass backwards right. I am surprised he didn't let the republicans order the strike on OBL just to make them happier.
In this case, the justices have yet to tell us their decision, but considering the questions they asked, it may not bode well for Obama's unconstitutional individual mandate. I sense they are getting nervous and they are lashing out as if SCOTUS is out of line to disagree with them.
It takes some time for them to write up their briefs supporting their decision. Not to mention they do have other issues they are dealing with. Actually, this whole thing has been handled relatively quickly considering the normal operating speed of the justice system.
It's simple really.
Yes, you are wrong and completely ignoring reality because you want something to bitch about. At least wait until they make their decision to condemn it. You do not even know what you are bitching about right now.
Nothing in the constitution gives government the authority to force participation in commerce by mandating that we all purchase something from a third party. It's not there and they have no legal leg to stand on.
yeah, and they will probably throw it out. They have a year and a half to finish this, so let them have their time to write up their reasons.
I think the message is clear from Obama that Roberts will be targeted and they will make life difficult for him if he follows the law.
There is nothing they can do as he is set in his position until he chooses to leave. He has a nice salary, the best of government benefits, and even if he left in disgrace from the democrats he would still have his retirement benefits, and I am sure the republicans would love to give him some speaking jobs. Seriously, they let dubbya speak to crowds and we all know he makes up words and barely has a grasp of the english language. Could I please get targeted like that?
