4th grade band is not "racist" but it's too young to teach a GROUP of children to play band instruments. It's the same idea as teaching the average 4 or 5 year old piano. Waiting until they're 7 gains much and costs little. The average child who starts piano at age 5 or age 7 ends up at basically the same place by age 10.

Likewise if you start band in, say, 6th grade, you have more mature minds, fingers, and lungs to work with and the musicians move at a much faster clip.

Better to have 4th graders play classroom instruments like small percussion, ukulele and Satan's little flute, the recorder.

You know what this term white supremacy is. It's to replace racism cause the left has totally worn out that term by over use that they had to reinvent it.
