A slew of companies across the tech, media, finance, and retail industries made significant cuts to staff in 2023. Tech titans like IBM, Google, Microsoft, finance giants like Goldman Sachs, and manufacturers like Dow all announced layoffs.

2024 is looking grim too. And it's only March.

Nearly 40% of business leaders surveyed think layoffs are likely at their companies this year, and about half say their companies will implement a hiring freeze. ResumeBuilder talked to about 900 leaders at organizations with more than 10 employees. Half of those surveyed cited concerns about a recession as a reason.

Hang onto your panties, hell is coming. Thanks Biden

Trump done it

Do you think they can hold things together long enough to let Trump take control of the sinking ship?

That's a tough one, being only the tail end of March, there's a long way to go.

America is going to have to face up to the issue of guaranteeing a monthy wage or salary to the poor that are either unemployed or are working at jobs that don't pay a living wage.

If the situation is ignored then the theft and violence will grow out of control! The guns are already coming out and threats are becominig reall. Bloodbath?

Americans are fully aware of the growing problem and are convinced that electing Trump will be the miracle cure. Unfortunatley, Trump's fix can't be tolerated in a democracy and so the issue will become very real to the Trump faithful who will come to realize that they've been snookered.

Vote for Trump! He's at least a hope for avoiding a nuclear war against Russia!

Around 72% of Americans already believe they are worse off since Biden took office.
