If Dems could educate themselves and evolve away from this mindless racism, why can't Republicans?

Except, the real truth is that there are conservatives and there are liberals, regressives and progressives. At one time, the progressives were Repubs and now they are the Dems.

So, the question still is, why can't modern day Repubs educate themselves and renounce racism and the racists they vote for? For that matter, they also vote for known pedophiles as well.
