Of course we do….EVERYONE uses solar power from the sun now or millions of years ago and every-time in between……Your fossil fuels all came from solar energy. Wind, hydro and renewables all exist because of solar energy. So we are using solar energy with fossil fuel generated by the suns energy just like we can use it now for electricity.Do you personally use solar or wind power?

Instead, the photons from the fusion reaction in the sun produces not just heat energy , but vast quantities of photons which are turned into electrons by solar cells. Reactors here in earth need vast expensive infrastructure..The fusion reactor of the sun produces electricity MUCH. CHEAPER and more efficiently. No comparison.
