I enjoy diversity and would love to meet a friendly Vulcan and an Orion female (Star Trek), Merperson (Andre Norton), John Carter, Deja Thoris, and Tars Tarkus (E. R. Burroughs), uplifted dolphins and chimps (David Brin), Lazarus Long and Jubal Harshaw (R. A. Heinlein), Daneel (Isaac Asmov), Beowolf Shaeffer and Nesus (Larry Niven), and wide variety of other characters from other science fiction that is still my first love for literature.
Unfortunately that kind of reality only exists in our mind.
