It was to help explain why a protion of our society has refused to face the facts that exsist in our modern world.

Amazing how a lack of income will make people look at employment and healthy employers as a good thing. When entitlements have to be cut in the future, jobs will become even a more important thing than now. The party seen as most supportive of business will gain favor. It is a cycle like most things in life. Democrats are holding the short stick at the moment.

Conservatives minds work in such a way they cant move from the trench they call home.

Its the prime reason why the Real Republicans dont have the guts to take their party back, they are of a conservative mind seet too.

Republicans can hope the tea party is a phase, I don't see them turning back on that platform yet; but I see traditional republicans and evangelicals of the religious persuasion cringing at the thought of cuts to their special projects or even worse liberal right wingers entering the ring and trying to advocate pro-choice and anti-war. I think the Republican Party will turn on the tea party if they lose too many votes next cycle.

They could go independent (but there can only be so many Ron Paul's) , and I doubt they could honestly hold power for long as independents; they are nothing without the Republican party, just like the Unions are nothing without the Democrats.

Ok, I see your point and I did when you first posted but how would the GOP remove the TP from their ranks and more importantly, why would the GOP remove the Tea Party when they would lose a huge conservative vote?

What I mean is let’s say after 2012 Reps lose because they put up a liberal like Mitt and the TP (and big ass part of the True Republican Party) react poorly... So the GOP somehow manages to kick let’s say 8% of their voting base out. What happens next election cycle when the TP tries to assert itself and manages to garb let’s say another 5% from the Reps and a few % from independents and maybe even 1-2% from unhappy Democrats making them not a winning ticket but very viable and even more destructive to the Republican ticket?

If the TP were a third party they would be huge and the stigma would be gone that the TP is just a white Republican Nazi thingy that bigoted people like TM make it out to be. That would make it even more (because there are thousands of liberals/democrats in the TP) attractive to independents and Democrats unhappy with their party.

Dear fellow American, we have always had a constitutional government.

If you do not think we have give DIRECT examples of where we have not.

Otherwise what you are doing is spouting what you were told to fire you all up about this country so the republicans could get your vote.

Talk in depth to prove you have a real shred of idea of what you claim.

Yes we do exist.
Conservative Democrats who are fed up with the hijacking by liberals of the party for over 20 years and just recently the moderates of the party for the last 4 years.
And she has the audacity to talk about the tea party taking over the republicans.
She can't even see that liberals have taken over and no representation of balance in the party and this is why the two side can't work together any longer.
Both parties were able to work together when each side had an equal balance of conservative, moderate and liberal. But now it is just liberal voices only for the dem's.
