It seems the EU wants to do away with Visa-free travel for Americans who spend over a 100 billion a year as tourist.
When I was stationed over in South Korea the youngsters occasional protested outside of US military bases. This one time they were a little to enthusiastic and a base commander near the DMZ gave the order that troops were confined to base. This went on for a couple of weeks until local business owners got tired of it and chased the protesters away.
