Apparently you can download an older version of a browser called Maxthon that still supports Windows XP.

Or you could go to seamonkey which is a mozilla product. It is what I have used for 18 years or more.

I read Opera is based off Mozilla so it does not support Windows XP any longer either.

That may be true, but, from what I'm reading...which may not be accurate...Opera is still updating and securing version 36 independently.

Which Browser Is Most Secure on Your Old Windows XP System?

I got used to being haunted by viruses before "Update Tuesday" from Microcephalic...er Microsoft...remember that? The second Tuesday of the month they'd patch the screen door that Explorer became and smugly suggest we buy their newest browser which was probably worse. When I switched to Firefox, I was amazed there was a browser that gave a crap about it's users and happily supported XP. I also got a hunch Firefox will continue to protect us when a real baddie rolls around same as MS did a year ago when Sasser made a comeback....they didn't advertise it but they patched XP (sp3) for us.
