Multi-culturalism is very important in this new world of networking-gauged politics (e.g., European Union, NATO, etc.). The business world and the political world are closely tied, so it's no surprise that America has elected a finance-wizard as its 45th President (Donald Trump).
Hollywood (USA) makes films such as Coming to America, The American President, Traffic, and The Wolf of Wall Street, suggesting that new world confluence-based contract negotiations are integrally tied to culture itself.
Immigration is the key issue in this new world, and it touches on many issues important to multi-culturalism and confluence-based business and politics. Terrorism threats are designed to destabilize America's ability to handle and manage traffic, which is why the Taliban attacked the World Trade Center on 9/11.
Journalism and education continue to be important, and user-friendly pedestrian resources such as CNN.com and Wikipedia serve as 'bases' of information exchange and brainstorming. Sometimes it seems that the Internet is moving faster than governance/regulation.
Imagine an immigrant comes to America and navigates on Wikipedia (the world's premier free online encyclopedia, which, incidentally, is peer-edited) and the website for Harvard University (arguably the world's finest school). He/She finds useful information and vital community comments about information reliability and 'traffic sociology.' We don't want this immigrant to encounter the problems of Internet viruses/hackers and start to think that there is a lack of good Information Superhighway 'management.'
Mohegan Sun is a very nicely-built casino and resort center in Connecticut (USA) and it is managed by members/delegates of the Mohegan Nation of Native-Americans. I actually went to school with the daughter of one of the executives. Mohegan Sun represents a great American investment in confluence-focused social activity, so we want people (especially immigrants) to feel comfortable and welcome to navigate to the Mohegan Sun website without difficulty or angst.
In other words, this 'new world order' is entirely 'soldiered' by the people(!), and of course, since it is for consumerism-based empiricism (e.g., Facebook, Wall Street, National Geographic TV, etc.), it is for the people(!).
Perhaps Planet Hollywood has become IBM...
