The Daily Shows take on ATF idiocy

Jon Stewart doesn't "take on" anyone.
He is a comedian. Therefore he doesn't have to abide by factual information and a little thing called "accuracy".
O'Reilly did a little video on Jon Stewart highliting all the inaccurate statements he had made in one week alone.
Of course...this video has never seen the light of day.

I will disagree with you. Stewart was the first media person in the US to give anything more than a 30 second soundbite to the Climategate fiasco. He has exposed many things this way and he is able to do it with humour.

Of course, he indeed brings attention to young people political/national concerns -- however he is a very, very poor source to BELIEVE what he tells you. He has openly admitted in interviews that he is a comedian FIRST and foremost.
As long as a person watches him with the full understanding that his intent is to make you laugh FIRST...and, ok maybe inform you of something in a distinct liberal slant.
Keep in mind just this past Sunday he said he does not believe NYT or MSNBC has a liberal agenda.

O'Reilly does not have to abide by accuracy either as a political commontater.

Its amazing what the ATF has gotten away with. Allowing guns to be shipped illegally to drug cartels? And without Mexican government knowing it? You could easily say that the US willingly aided the terrorists, and thats what the drug cartels are, in Mexico.

If Bush was in office the libs would be clamoring for him to be impeached. But of course since this is The Hussein's Reign....not a peep....

Sure...but more so.
It would be like getting your information from Tim Robbins, only wittier and funnier...which is really what Jon Stewart is - a smarter-funnier Tim Robbins.
With the main media sources, whta you have to watch out for is not bad information, but deliberate missing information.

I don't take anything from any media source at face value. They all either make mistakes or willfully mislead. It is up to us to seperate the wheat from the chaff.
