Bama has had a crushing defense since Saban arrived. And year after year we had RBs that could eat up both yards and clock.

If you watched the Nat'l Championship, you saw AJ McCarron throw against one of the toughest pass defenses in the nation. Now we have landed another top shelf QB to take over when AJ leaves.

Cooper Bateman, the #4 pro style QB in next years recruiting, has committed to Bama.

The kid runs a sub-4.5, has a cannon for an arm, is 6'3" and 190lbs, and carries a 3.8 GPA. According to his high school coach he is quite the player.

"What people don't understand about him is he's a sub-4.5 guy. Legitimately sub-4.5. This kid can fly and he can just flat hammer the ball. He can throw it as good and hard as anybody."

"We were down by 6 in a 30-degree game with four seconds to go. He threw it 67 yards on a rope and hit our guy in stride. The DB started backpeddling because he didn't think he could throw it that far."
