But pulling the discussion back on track, before 2016, the Donald was any other international business man looking for profits around the world. He and his family completed obligations and continued to operate overseas businesses but did not expand those businesses or seek new international investments while Trump was in office. His enemies and the leftist MSM of course accuse him of all sorts of conflicts of interest, malfeasance, unethical operations etc. etc. etc. but there is nothing unusual there. He is the first international businessman we have ever elected to high office and the dynamics involved are simply going to be different than we have with professional politicians.

But when he was President he set about putting America first as much as possible and doing what he could as President, with little or no help from Congress, to minimize the damage China was doing and re-establishing some benefits for America, i.e. an America first agenda.

We now have a government that rattles the cage a bit criticizing China but is moving full steam ahead to allow China to do anything it wants. And that includes disadvantaging America even more than it did before.

So when he knew people would be paying attention, he supposedly stopped the behavior that would make him unpopular?

That isn't a leader, that is a con man.

That's a tougher one. Business decisions are a much different animal than political decisions when you are establishing government policies that are better or best for the American people, including business.

There is no way ANY of us are going to completely get around buying Chinese products because there are too few products available to buy that don't involve Chinese products in some way. And Trump is as guilty there as we all are. But what he did do was be proactive in encouraging American businesses to do their business in America instead of there or in other countries and we did see many of those businesses moving operations back to the USA. For the first time in a very long time, manufacturing jobs were significantly increasing in the USA instead of evaporating to other countries, not the least of which was to China.

So of course the Chinese resented Trump a great deal, as did the EU who he insisted that if they wanted American cooperation and security, they needed to step up and do their part. But all were doing it. Not perfectly, but it was a lot better than it was. He was resented because he wasn't their willing sugar daddy or lackey, but they respected him. I don't think there would be a war in the Ukraine and China, Iran, and North Korea wouldn't be saber rattling now if Trump was still in the White House.

What is curious is that there are more Chinese concentrated in New York City than anywhere else but there is one CCP police station. The second largest concentration on the North American continent is Toronto where they have three police stations? Maybe the concentration isn't in one area in Toronto as it mostly is in NYC?

Then Biden made a $1.275 billion deal with China to manufacture and ship those home COVID test kits we all got even while pushing buy American policy that the government seems to be immune to. They have a growing Capitalist system with hundreds and hundreds more of factories built every year. They will be the Reserve Currency of the world soon enough. There is no doubt that the CCP leaders figured out that capitalism produced far more prosperity for them than communism and it was in their best interests to allow more of it. So those who produce more are allowed to have more which is what capitalism is. And that has significantly reduced poverty and discontent in China. Also most Chinese have never known much liberty and the more relaxed approach of the current CCP is probably welcome compared to how it once was.

But we must always be aware that the capitalism in China is completely regulated, controlled, monitored, and would be shut down immediately if deemed unfavorable to the CCP. Speech, travel, religion, media, personal choices are all restricted/regulated.

Americans would not be happy with a New World Order dominated by the Chinese.

The US government, run by democrats, pretty much made it impossible to manufacture things in the USA. Coture was left alone because the ruling elite want their fancy duds, but the American textile industry is pretty much gone. There is one company in LA that still manufactures, but most of their stuff is made in mexico, and there are three I think, still in NY. And ALL of their production is bought up till hell freezes over.

So, if you want to make stuff, you MUST go overseas. There IS no alternative. Thanks to the ruling class.
