I think I may be coming around to Canada taking this choice based on the circumstances. We can't just sit and allow two Canadians to wallow in a dirty, communist country, or possibly be executed. It would also destroy Canadas reputation, which is already viewed as weak and feeble. Our reputation will be impacted even WORSE, if we don't do this strategically and not be viewed as a nation that will break when foreign nations take our citizens hostage.

It has to be work like this however:

1) a conversation with our American friends to explain to them we have to get our two hostages back and that there will be economic consequences for China

2) Telling the cowardly sacks of communist dog phlegm that their princess will be allowed to leave as soon as the two Michaels they have in their prisons are placed on a plane that safely lands in Canada

3) The promise to America that Huawei will be banned from access in Canada (while not making China aware of this until a month or so after the trade, all in "the due diligence process plays out").

Yes, this criminal will be getting away with her crimes, but the communists will pay. Of any of you paying attention to this, what do you think?
