Korea Cultural Centre UK held Korea's traditional cloth exhibition-"baeja" (Sleeveless Short top) and Many people are interested in it.
Baeja is the cloth that people wear when they go out for hunting or riding.
It is based on horse-riding people's traditional cloth. Queen Elizabeth 2th and her cousin Prince Michael, the And Albert Museum Director, the British museum Asia Collection Manager, UK-Korea's ambassadors etc. About 150 people visited this exhibition and watched lots of displayed items.
One of the visitors said, "this baeja is simple and elegant, I think it fits to the current trend of Design."
Especially, Prince Michael expressed his expectation that baeja can infuse new inspirations to english designers.
