18 "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live"

Salem witch trials document up for auction, expected to fetch up to $35,000 - WorldWide Religious News

March 14, 2012

Salem, USA - A document from the Salem witch trials is expected to fetch as much as $35,000 when it hits the auction block.

The original court indictment of Margaret Scott, a Rowley widow in her 70s and one of the last people hanged during the 1692 hysteria in colonial Massachusetts, is part of a private collection of historical documents being sold Thursday at Swann Auction Galleries in New York.

The pre-auction estimate is $25,000 to $35,000, but one local expert thinks that is too low.

You still are ignorant.

Folks who actually believe that ancient myth are the ignorant among us. Anybody who's fallen for a promise of a life after death is in bad shape.

Dying is death....thats why they call it dead.

Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
Matthew 5:17

Lucky for us the Founding Fathers made sure that left wing nut cases would not be responsible for Biblical interpretation.

Ain't it the truth:

“And the day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus, by the supreme being as his father in the womb of a virgin will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerva in the brain of Jupiter" ~Thomas Jefferson~ excerpt from a letter to then president John Adams April 1823

LMAO!!

And you know this how? Your obviously not dead... in body anyway. How do you know it's the end? How do you know it's not the begining of another life? Baby in the womb thinks thats it to life until it's born and then discoveres there's a whole other world. Butterfly changes from worm to butterfly. How do you know when we shed our skin we don't become something else? Human spirit has, and may very well be energy. Can energy be destroyed? No, but it can change forms. How do you know there isn't a creator? Humans create things, how do you know someone with a higher intelligence didn't create us? You don't. Most Mythology has a grain of truth in it somewhere. If you take all the combined mythology of the world, there is a general consensus that there is a Creator somewhere.

MOst sinning is fun and I will keep on doing it. Eating catfish and such.
If we were not endowed with intellect and took everything literally, we would find that playing football is sinful as that ball is made of pig skin. Slavery would be profitable and the Bible could set fair market prices. The very shirt on your back would be an abomination before God due to its mixture of fabrics.

In short, fry me up some catfish!

What's so great about the Bible anyway?

All it is is a collection of myths and fables.
