Do you count the countries that you have been to?
Will it matter to you when/if you reach 100 countries?
I passed 100 recently when I visited The Gambia, and although I only count countries for fun (it doesn't influence where I go or for how long I go there), it does feel quite amazing to have been to 100 countries.
And since someone is bound to ask - I only count countries that I have actually spent at least one full day in, not airport stopovers or countries I was only in for an hour. I do count Palestine, Scotland, The Vatican and Nagorno Karabakh as countries, but I do not count Macau, East Germany etc, etc.
Somehow I think I'm unlikely to ever reach 200.
