Every car camera that sends footage to a cloud server does the exact same thing.
The question is not about Tesla. But the lack of ethical behavior by these employs nosing around private videos to see what they could find.

lol using the word 'ethics' in anything to do with tech and business practices is just delusional.

No
Tesla isn't the guilty one here. It is the employees. Tesla didn't pay them to go through people's private videos - they did.
Every car camera that exists that has the capabilities to upload video to a cloud server does exactly the same thing. If the owner doesn't know that - then they are really quite stupid aren't they.
What they TRUST - is that employees of the company don't go rifling through video to find stuff.
That is the trust that was violated.
Tech/software companies for the past 20 years especially, are absolutely vacant of ethics and good faith. No one would dispute that.
But this case is not a part of that. This is people working their abusing their access - and then have the ignorance to point the finger at Tesla

lol Tesla's corporate culture is no different than any other. Morals and ethics are discouraged. Their employees are a perfect mirror of their management. Others get fired pretty quickly, assuming they even make through the hiring process weed outs at all. Mediocrity and amoral social values are in high demand.

Point to where I have offered any opinion on Tesla.... yeah.... I did not.
IN THIS CASE - it was the employees going through private videos to see what they could find.
Again - and for the 3rd time - ALL cloud car cams store video on company servers. Every single one.
That the price you pay to have that technology. I guarantee you Tesla has policies, in writing, about employees misusing their access. 100%.
These people looked through videos while at Tesla. Then after they no longer work there - they want to blame their poor behavior on Tesla.
