If ISIS began an attack on Fort Bliss from Juarez, the border would have to be closed to protect our bases and Obama would never do that. Mexico would not allow it.

They would try but it would be pretty easy to attack from the south and shut the base down. It's very easy to enter the country in El Paso and make it to Fort Bliss as it's located in El Paso. A number of entrances, plus the mountain would give easy access.

We use to cross the border at Acuna all the time(about a 100 miles from my weekend place in the Hill Country) and hit the bars and go up on the hill. The hill was basically a small town run by the Mexican drug lords that was full of whore houses.
Never took advantage of the lady options but it was a good time watching all the the wares on stage and drinking 50 cent beer.
Best part was bringing the uninitiated and telling them they were in a whore house.
You'd be surprised at how many refused to believe it up until you took them to the mamacita and asked them to hook up your buddy.

More important -- Mexico would be negatively impacted if they closed the border. Thousands of children would not get to school, thousands of commuters from Juarez would not make it to their workplaces. They won't shut down the border no matter what -- but again if ISIS is in Juarez, they're already on this side of the border also.

Obama announced to them he has no plan to stop them. That was like giving them the green light.

I'm here now -- and today it was as usual, the government isn't taking the threats seriously.

There are a lot of Muslims in El Paso, many recent arrivals, there's an Islamic Center and mosques. And how would ISIS be stopped? There is no racial profiling allowed.

They aren't going to shut down NAFTA ports, but if ISIS is in Juarez, they are already here in the USA. If they are in Juarez, it will be as easy for them to come over as it is for the Central Americans to come over, there is no fence.
