House minority leader Nancy Pelosi was expecting a photo op with a group of teenagers. Well, uh, it was everything but. It was uh, a disaster. The teen, Andrew Demeter, 16, asked Pelosi, "Why do you support the NSA's illegal and ubiquitous data collection?" She replied, “Well I, I do not, I have questions about the metadata collection that they were, uh, collecting,” that "I think the burden lies on the Department that I have fought for years [sic] on the committee for years on the wide swath they have put out there." Then the hammer came down when Demeter replied "You did vote for a bill to continue NSA funding though." That left her stammering and unable to coherently answer the questions Demeter put to her.
