A buddy convinced me to attend a tea party rally in 2009. I was surprised at the civilized, nonviolent gathering. The media portrays them as violent, gun toting, fanatical extremists and I believed it. Until I actually went to one and saw for myself that they are just ordinary folks that are fed up with where our country is headed.

I haven't participated in anymore rallies since but at least now I know they are good people. I actually agree with them somewhat.
