Let's suppose that G-d intervenes, and the Republican candidate wins. And absolutely nothing changes. Then what?

Nothing changes? If the Republicans win, and gain in both the House and Senate there will be changes - radical changes.
Have you listened to the four candidates for the R nomination?
Santorum wants to attack Iran, no discussion on the consequences of such an act and he would take us back to the 10th Century;
Romney wants to repeal Obamacare, no discussion on why reform was necessary or what will replace Obamacare - the classic empty suit;
Paul wants to take us back to 1830 and put into effect the ideas of Calhoun;
And, Gingrich promises $2.50 a gallon gas, a balanced budget and a free ride to Mars.
Four demagogues, three reactionaries, two charlatans and one will be the nominee of the GOP. The Best and the Brightest of the GOP. Pitiful.

We are in a very radical and incongruous position right now.

Who are you at war with? How will you know when you have won or lost? I seriously doubt that any of you liberal/socialists know what liberty actually means. You use and abuse it, but you don't have any real appreciation or respect for it.

I seriously doubt that many conservatives/Republicans know what 'liberty' actually means either. Most Republicans support "big government" initiatives, like the recent NDAA 2012 act, using the government to define marriage, using the government to police abortions, using the government to spy on its citizens, ect, ect.
There's really no true "small government" party anymore, and I suggest that while you go off on "liberals" not knowing what liberty means, you also include those on the right in that group as well.

No we are not. We are engaged in a war to test if this nation, or any nation conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal can long endure.
Isn't it fitting that Obama is the President taking up the mantel for Lincoln.
The thing I'm most afraid of if republicans win is the radical left wing of the democrat party and their socialist comrades. Van Jones already has the OWS primed for anarchy and you have experienced terrorist general Bill Ayers waiting on the sidelines. When you combine the incredible hatred on the left with the disappointment of losing the election all they need is a spark.
