They wouldn’t be sending subpoenas if the Trump administration abided by the traditions of voluntarily complying with congressional oversight to the degree that every administration has before.

Fighting Congressional requests used to be the exception, now it’s standard operating procedure. Trump does not respect oversight, and this is extremely damaging to our nation.

Congress is sending subpoenas for routine document requests that never needed subpoenas before. And those subpoenas are thrown in the trash. Congressional oversight is barely a concept with this administration. This is the most secretive administration we’ve ever had.

The investigators requested all communications having to do with the attack in Benghazi and Hillary Clinton lied to them that she'd turned all the documents over and then paid someone to professionally scrub her servers to destroy evidence!

And if the Obama administration did what Trump is doing, they would have just refused to comply with the requests of Congress and none of you would have ever known about it.

How CAN you ignore such a blatant example of abuse of power? We have separation of powers built into our system of government just so what Nancy Pelosi and her minions attempted to do doesn't take place! Congress has no right to simply subpoena virtually everyone who works in the Executive Branch looking for a crime! THAT is why that mountain of subpoenas was rightly ignored by the Trump Administration! If you have demonstrated that a crime has taken place...then and only then do you have the right to start subpoenaing documents and personnel from another branch of government! Every one of these are justifiable. Trump is the one abusing his authority and needs to be called on the carpet.
