Watched the stupid debates, stupid because it was like a WWR cage match, and they all came out looking pathetic except for Kasich and Trump.

But the audience was plainly stacked with Bush supporters and big donors who are so out of touch witht he rank and file that they demonstrate they are still utterly clueless.

With any luck Trumps nomination will go a long way to destroying the neocon movement.

It was quite obvious that Bush had a shitload of his donors at the debate. I mean they were cheering even when there was no reason to cheer. He's no better than Cruz in Iowa with his tricks, only everyone saw through it. Trump handled it just right when he said "I'm funding myself, I only have my wife and kids in the audience". Bush is a loser and sooner or later his donors will get tired of throwing their money down a rat hole and Jeb the pussy will be out for good.

SJ whats up with Cruz and his team? I don't understand whats going on and hes lost me

I don't like Ted cruz at all but he destroyed trump at least twice with trumps own history! Some of the very conservative voters in south Carolina probably changed their vote.

What made it effective is the reality that trump couldn't dispute it.

What history. Hey kiddo I used to be a mega lib. I've over the years become a conservative. I can't change my fucking mind over all these years kiddo?

Hey Matthew I used to go to Black Panther meetings. Most importantly the ORIGINAL black panthers not the ones we have today.

I've changed over the years. Politicians can to.

CNN erroneously reported that Carson was calling it quits the day of the Iowa caucus. The Cruz campaign immediately sent out tweets and emails to the precincts that Carson was dropping out of the race and the evangelicals should not waste their vote on him but instead vote for Cruz. The Carson campaign corrected it and sent Cruz'z campaign messages telling them he was NOT dropping out. The Cruz campaign, instead of sending out a correction email, said nothing, leaving everyone to think Carson dropped out (which benefited Cruz).

I blamed CBS that night, posted this...

Allowing audience reaction like that just demeans the process, turning the "debate" even more into reality show infotainment. Every minute they spend on the angry back and forth is one more minute you're not getting info giving you insight into candidates actual policies. The "moderators", in allowing the audience's constant loud and raucous and obviously biased cheering and jeering outbursts completely ignored what should be one of their most important functions. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but I'm just a curious foreigner.
I'm far from a Trump fan but it appeared to me those moderators had the establishment's knifes in their hands last night constantly pushing them deeper into Trump's back. Tough questions are great, but didn't it seem like those moderators had a not very neutral anti-Trump agenda last night? Classless act by CBS and a D- for their moderators.

CBS is part of the neocon-ish establishment so RNC/CBS foul play in the debacle wouldn't surprise me.

The particulars are that Trump does not want to destroy Planned Parenthood because they still give great assistance to young women with their pregnancies outside of abortion. I think Trump wants to find a way to prohibiting them from using federal funds on abortion services, etc, but not completely defunding it. That is a moderate-conservative position, not 100% conservative, but being ideologically conservative 100% is not a good thing in my book as it draws into question the ability of anyone, like Cruz, to think independently.

people calling trump on what he does is not indicative of "stacking" the audience. it's an indication of how most people see him.

of course, even if they did put actual republicans in the seats, it's their right. it's their party. you can like that or not. if you don't, start a third party and stop hijacking theirs.

seems to make sense to me.

I didnt say that people calling Trump on anything was stacking the audience. Where do you get that?

Filling the audience with Bush supporters is stacking the audience.

seems to make sense to me.

Then the audience would have been 40% Trump supporters, and I dont think that would be fair the the lower polling candidates.

maybe they did put bush supporters in. again, it's their party, it's their right.

trump should run third party. he's not an actual republican

Lol, Trump is more of a Republican than Jeb Bush is. Bush and his whole clan would be in any party that would allow them to undercut labor, as that is all they are concerned about.

not really. last i checked the so-called "establishment" is the actual party. the trump people are trying to take over their party. you can ignore that or not. but by definition, establishment means the people who "ESTABLISHED" something, not the people trying to change it.

The establishment of a party directs it, but not that they established it That was done around 1854.

The rank and file membership, especially the activists who knock on doors, drive voters to the voting polls, etc, are the heart and soul of the party, not the big money fat cats.

the "establishment" good ole boys bastards club is getting as low down and sleazy as that Socialist/commie calling itself the: Democrat party

I like the fact that he's not rank-and-file like the others. And what I like even more is that he has no problem whatsoever in letting the establishment know it, much to their chagrin.

Trump is kind of an amateur at this whole political thing, but his positions bring in the crowds, way more than anyone else. It's silly to think that if a bunch of insiders boo Trump, then Trump is slipping. His positions on immigration and trade is what draws the crowds. Many dems will vote for Trump in the general election. Especially with Obama trying to stick the TPP up our culos while at the same time bringing all these refugees here in unbelievable numbers. There's not enough money in the budget to take care of America's more needy as it is. Too bad Obama doesn't understand this.
