Student sues to wear Mexican and American flag sash at high school graduation

I would agree, I went to graduation way back when and I thought it was a lot of hype for not really accomplishing anything. Then listening to kids with their idealistic rhetoric is mind numbing. I guess it is always good to have hope but after graduation the real world hits.
We had a ceremony when I got my degree. They gave us a rolled up piece of cardboard with a ribbon on it. No writing or anything. We had to give it back afterwards.

That’d be okay for me. We have daycare graduation, preschool, kindergarten, 1st grade, elementary, junior high and high school graduations, it’s really overkill. You work a Job for 40 years and there is no retirement ceremony, but I’m thinking it may not be two far into the future.
