1) 16,000,000 borrowers had their loans taken over by a different provider who was not required till now, to tell you your payment needs to go to them.
2) If borrowers do nothing... their payment defaults to a interest bearing 30 year loan that over the life of that loan will nearly double what they pay.
3) Bidens political ploy to forgive loans is coming back to haunt young Americans in spades. Higher interest on some loans, default loan plans that will cause them to pay double interest over time.

There was zero interest on the loans for 2 1/2 years, the borrowers could have taken advantage and paid it off, but were encouraged by Biden and others to wait for a free money prize. It is very hard to have sympathy for any of them, and their failure to provide for themselves will follow them after this is all "settled". Race to the bottom.

Yep, that's what I did. I paid down about $50k during that time. I only owe about $6k now.

It was an OBVIOUS campaign ploy to gain young votes - and it worked.
