Story of Richard Wurmbrand - in Communist Prison

Please do not miss this interview with Richard Wurmbrand and his wife, Sabina.

If you listen to one testimony from a Christian today - please let it be this one. Richard Wurmbrand and his wife Sabina were a true servants of God and they both lived a very humble lives. They suffered greatly for the LORD and are a great example for believers today.

The Prisoner's Dilemma

Christians are guilty of religious bigotry just like other religions are. It seems worthwhile to consider how variegations in social philosophy contribute to attitudes towards lifestyle. A man spending time in a Communist prison, be he Christian or not, certainly has some insights to offer about culture-shock since he himself is not from a Communist country.

Have you ever read "One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich" (Aleksandr Solzhenistyn)?

What if a prison library offers its inmates literary titles such as "Treasure Island" (Robert Louis Stevenson) and "The Hunt for Red October" (Tom Clancy) on audiobook? Audiobooks in audio cassette format are rather affordable to purchase, so prison manages are not as reluctant to invest in such infrastructure enhancements, especially since they contribute to incarceration harmoniousness.

You may not likely find such resources in a Communist prison, so I have to ask, what did this Christian fellow learn about 'environmental heroism' while spending time inside an unfamiliar Communist prison?
