Actually, the President can be impeached for anything Congress wants to impeach him for.

Likelihood that Congress will impeach President Dennison? I'd say absolutely 0% change.

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.


I don't see a time frame where it says "only for actions that occurred after election". Do you?
