I don't know enough about "Crazy Betsy" to have an opinion on her overall intellect, but she did push back the title 9 tribunal system of colleges adjudicating sexual assault accusations using a preponderance of evidence, so she's won one for due process at least. The last set of education dipshits were pushing Common Core, so I'm pretty sure Devos is a huge step up.
