Thousands of slaughtered Christians doesn't fit the narrative, so it's been ignored by the Obama administration.

"A report by a renowned journalist states that Christians are to be excluded from an impending official United States government declaration of ISIS genocide. If true, it would reflect a familiar pattern within the administration of a politically correct bias that views Christians — even non-Western congregations such as those in Iraq and Syria — never as victims but always as Inquisition-style oppressors. (That a State Department genocide designation for ISIS may be imminent was acknowledged last week in congressional testimony, by Ambassador Anne Patterson, the assistant secretary of the State Department’s Near East Bureau.)

An unnamed State Department official was quoted by Isikoff as saying that only the attacks on Yazidis have made "the high bar" of the genocide standard and as pointing to the mass killing of 1,000 Yazidi men and the enslavement of thousands of Yazidi women and girls. To propose that Christians have been simply driven off their land but not suffered similar fates is deeply misinformed. In fact, the last Christians to pray in the language spoken by Jesus are also being deliberately targeted for extinction through equally brutal measures. Christians have been executed by the thousands. Christian women and girls are vulnerable to sexual enslavement. Many of their clergy have been assassinated and their churches and ancient monasteries demolished or desecrated. They have been systematically stripped of all their wealth, and those too elderly or sick to flee ISIS-controlled territory have been forcibly converted to Islam or killed, such as an 80-year-old woman who was burned to death for refusing to abide by ISIS religious rules. Pope Francis pronounced their suffering "genocide" in July. The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and a broad array of other churches have done so as well. Analysis from an office of the Holocaust Museum apparently relied on by the State Department asserts that ISIS protects Christians in exchange for jizya, an Islamic tax for "People of the Book," but the assertion is simply not grounded in fact. ISIS atrocities against Christians became public in June 2014 when the jihadists stamped Christian homes in Mosul with the red letter N for "Nazarene" and began enforcing its "convert or die" policy. The atrocities continue. Recently the Melkite Catholic bishop of Aleppo reported that 1,000 Christians, including two Orthodox bishops, have been kidnapped and murdered in his city alone. In September, ISIS executed, on videotape, three Assyrian Christian men and threatened to do the same to 200 more being held captive by the terrorist group. Recent reports by an American Christian aid group state that several Christians who refused to renounce their faith were raped, beheaded, or crucified a few months ago."

Maybe because there are only about 300,000 Yazidis, and billions of Christians. They aren't calling thousands of dead Muslims genocide either.

ISIS was created by the CIA. The reason why is found in the PNAC, and its predecessor, the Oded Yinon Plan; also watch on youtube, 'General Wesley Clark interview from 1991' in which he said he was given the order that the goal is to "destabilize the Middle East".

Therefore, it would be better to give credit to the government for the genocide.

noun
1.the deliberate and systematic extermination of a national, racial, political, or cultural group.

the definition of genocide

If they were killing ALL Christians, then maybe they'd have a point, but they're not.

They ARE trying to kill all Yazidi's though.

Was the holocaust genocide? There are millions of them. Was the mass murder of Germans genocide? There are millions of them. Was the holodomor genocide? There are millions of them. Was the Amalekites genocide? There aren't any of them. Was the Jacob Schiff bolshevik movement genocide? There are millions of them.

Legal definition of genocide

Genocide is defined in Article 2 of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (1948) as "any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a
national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such: killing members of the group; causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part
1; imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; [and] forcibly transferring children of the group to another group."

The 1948 Genocide Convention defines “genocide” as, among other things, “deliberately inflicting on” a religious group “conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part.”
As Islamic State continues to drive Christians from their homes, seizing their property, and offering them the “choice” between converting to Islam or being massacred, one must conclude that this qualifies as genocide.

They are trying and are succeeding in KILLING, forcefully converting and expelling all Christians too. They are also committing cultural genocide by destroying all their places of worship, homes and so on. Those that manage to flee from Isis cannot go into the camps, as they are killed by Muslims in around those too. It's not just Isis Muslims that are taking this opportunity to massacre Syrian Christians and wipe out their heritage. It IS a genocide of Syrian Chritians, much like that which has already happened in the areas of Iraq from which Isis operated - now Christian-free zones after a presence stretching back over a thousand years.

They are trying to rid the world of infidels. Period. And they are killing in large numbers.
