“At one point a girl at my table actually had to get up and leave because video after video they showed black people being assaulted by police or black people being verbally assaulted and white people being racially biased toward people of color,” a young black female Starbucks employee told Philly Mag after being forced to take part in their “racial sensitivity” training course this week.

Maybe Starbucks should just hire their own security and state that uniformed police are not welcome on the premises. See how that goes over for them.

I have no love for abusive police, but indoctrinating your own staff to not trust them and paint them all with a broad brush is disingenuous.

Time would have been better spent training employees on how to make a decent cup of coffee. Never had a coffee there that did not taste like it was burnt. They should take lessons from Dunkin Dounuts.
