Is such criticism meant as a message to a certain voting block, or something more? Or, is it just a face-value personal opinion?

Trump is uncomfortable Bush has a better chance of getting Latino backing by being bilingual.

He is absolutely right about assimilation.

This is a country created by immigrants who joined with those ahead and around them to strengthen the very place they came to to get away from where they were.

Among many things, English is the glue that holds us together. If one used an ethnic groups language to pander to them, it is degrading to them.

How about going into an Irish neighborhood and speaking Gaelic?

Or an Italian one and speaking Italian?

What would the reaction be then from the left?
