Quite frankly, they can't be funded in the future, because their growth is far exceeding our capability to pay for them. Either they will have to be scrapped, scaled back severely, or people are going to have to go back to a now out-dated way of life. Iow, aging parents will need to be cared for by their adult children. As for health care, now that we are going to have what amounts to guaranteed health care, care will start being rationed, and the elderly and severely infirm will lose top priority.

Net loss? Everyone that gets a paycheck has SS taken out. And it might surprise you to learn that many Latinos end up in good paying jobs...as do their children.

But Rav, the current unavoidable, inescapable problem is that the liabilities already far exceed the amount of taxes that could ever be collected. Right now, the entire public's net worth doesn't even cover a fraction of the total liabilities. So of course a percentage of that net worth in taxation obviously doesn't cover it. You could take everyone's taxes up to 90% and still not solve the problem.

So how does just adding more payers/beneficiaries somehow solve the problem if the ACTUAL problem is that liabilities are outpacing revenues?
