VISTA SECURITY CLEANER PRO - If this asks to enter your system - RUN!

According to Microsoft, it's a rogue program that infects your system and wants you to pay $99 to get the full version. It may only affect Windows Vista operating systems.

It hides in your registry and cannot be removed through the control panel.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Okay, to clear up any confusion here, when he/she says RUN it means run away, not run the program.

Now that that's cleared up.
LK, 1st try a system restore,

Using Windows 7 or Vista System Restore

If that doesn't work then try this:

Remove Vista Security Cleaner Pro (Removal Guide)

The virus won't recognize Malwarebytes Chameleon as an anti-virus so it wont block its installation.

Finally, if for some weird reason that wont work, back up all of the files/documents you want to keep onto a thumb drive, have a copy of Vista or Win 7 ready, wipe your hard drive and reinstall the operating system.

Also, stop using Internet Explorer, make sure you load Malwarebytes and Avast, load CCleaner and make sure your Windows firewall is turned on.
